(Our story).

Savrow Private was founded by Michael Dundas and Sarah Thompson with a shared belief: that meaningful advisory begins with understanding people properly — their business, their family, their ambitions, and the responsibilities that often sit quietly around them.

After decades working across business advisory, taxation, operations, and leadership, they saw the need for a different kind of advisory relationship — one with the technical strength to navigate complexity, and the human understanding to appreciate what it means for the people carrying it.

The name Savrow draws inspiration from Savile Row - long associated with bespoke craftsmanship, considered detail and timeless refinement. Much like tailoring, we believe advice should be measured, intentional and built around the individual - never produced for the masses.

Today, Savrow works closely with privately owned businesses, families, founders, and emerging family offices through periods of growth, transition, succession, and complexity. Our role is not simply to advise, but to become a trusted long-term partner - bringing clarity, structure and perspective to the conversations and decisions that carry real weight.

At the heart of Savrow is a simple philosophy: doing meaningful business with great people. It is more than a statement — it is the standard we hold ourselves to. It shapes the relationships we build, the clients we work alongside, and the way we approach every engagement. Above all, we believe good advisory should feel personal, thoughtful, and deeply considered — the kind of advice worth returning to, not because it was loud, but because it was right.
